1.3 Safety Level Definitions
- DANGER: Severe injury or death if ignored.
- WARNING: Serious injury risk.
- CAUTION: Equipment damage risk.
- NOTE: Helpful guidance.
1.4 General Safety Requirements
- Perform energy isolation on all sources before work.
- Use personal protective equipment (safety shoes, glasses, gloves).
- Only trained personnel may operate the equipment.
- Do not remove or bypass any safety devices.
- Ensure clean, dry, well-lit working environment.
2.0 Pre-Installation Planning & Preparation
2.1 Site Assessment
Ensure sufficient space for equipment layout, power, and air supply accessibility, as well as proper grounding and lighting.
2.2 Utility Preparation
- Electrical, compressed air, and network connections must be ready.
- Check tools and assembly equipment before installation.
3.0 Equipment Receiving & Unpacking
Check for shipping damage and verify parts according to the packing list. Use proper lifting equipment when handling heavy modules.
4.0 Mechanical Installation
Assemble the machine frame and modules, tighten all fasteners, and ensure proper leveling. Align conveyor and mounting points to avoid misalignment during operation.
5.0 Electrical & Pneumatic Installation
Connect main power supply, control panel, sensors, and actuators according to the wiring diagram. Install pneumatic lines, filters, regulators, and valves per specifications.
5.1 Vision System
Mount cameras, lenses, and lighting. Connect the vision system to the control network. Perform initial calibration for label alignment and fiducial detection.
6.0 Commissioning & Performance Verification
Perform dry runs, verify mechanical motion, electrical signal integrity, pneumatic function, and vision system accuracy. Adjust speed and label placement parameters.
